S-55 crop spraying in Malaya
Hi,
I'm trying to find out a bit more on the use of 848 Squadron, FAA, S-55 and S-51 helicopters that were used to spray pesticide on bandit cultivations during the Malayan Emergency. Operations started in August 1953 and lasted until early 1954, with a few more sorties being carried out towards the end of 1954. Hoping to find a photo or two of the spray booms as fitted to the helicopters.
Any help appreciated.
