Speedbird Logo and Trans-Canada

Hello

Can anyone tell me why the Speedbird logo was included in the Trans-Canada Air Lines livery design, please?

QA1 - Thanks very much for the pdf link.

There are a few twists and turns in those 116 pages.

So (in simple terms), TCA wanted their own Speedbird logo, but different enough so as not to encroach on copyright.

I like the Westjet 'homage' too.
