RAF 42 sqn Beauforts

hi guys, looking for any info and photos of Beaufort mk1 used by 42 sqn

Take a look at back issues of 'Aeroplane Monthly' for about 25 or 30 years ago; a chap called Roy C Nesbit wrote a large number of illustrated articles about Beauforts in it.

Might have had something to do with his operational experence on type .

Dad was with 48 Squadron and trained in St Eval Jun 1940. I think trouble with engines so Squadron continued with Ansons

There are a number of photographs available from the the Imperial War Museum website. You can search here
A search for "Bristol Beaufort" gave this result: Bristol Beaufort some of these ( for example https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/i...ject/205126893) are of 42 Sqn aircraft.
