Errant turtle closes Narita runway

https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20210925/p2a/00m/0na/007000c

Maaany moons ago, I experienced to be instructed to go-around (still in Narita) due to a just happened earthquake in the aera and ATC closed the airport for runways inspection. Any further curious "stories" to add? Thanks a lot. 😉

Recollect a story about a large heron (I think), obstructing the runway ahead of an airliner full of passengers lined up and ready to roll. When eventually it flapped its way clear, ATC cleared the aircraft to depart with the final admonition "caution, wake turbulence from departing heron..."
