Hispano Buchon
Hispano Buchon
There are several surviving Hispano Buchon - I have seen them in museums and more than one of them flying at airshows.
But they have all been painted as Luftwaffe ME 109s.
Are any remaining Hispano Buchon painted as they were when flown by the Spanish Air Force? In collections? Still Flying?

There was a Buchon in Spanish markings on display at the Kalamazoo Air Museum in the USA, but no idea if its still on display and if so if its still in Spanish AF markings.
There is of course one in Spanish AF markings in the Spanish Air Force Museum, Madrid.

One in Spanish colours in the Musee de l'Air at Le Bourget as well as I recall.
Go and visit the Museo del Aire at Cuatro Vientos: https://ejercitodelaire.defensa.gob....elaire/en.html. They've got at least two original Buchons, one with the Hispano Suiza engine and a Merlin engined one in Hangar 3. I think GeeRam meant this one
There was a Spanish marked Buchon at the Canada Air and Space museum in Ottawa as well. It was with the reserve collection when I saw it around ten years ago, along with a Beaufighter.
