No.26 Squadron and Jet Provosts

Does anyone recall this enigmatic unit and its Jet Provosts? The squadron operated as a holding unit for the staff at HQ Training Command, RAF Brampton, and took delivery of its first two Jet Provost T Mk.3s (XM453 and XM455) in July 1974. On 31 March 1976 the unit became the Wyton detachment and transferred to the RAFC on 31 December 1976 as the Jet Provost detachment. The last Jet Provost was withdrawn in October 1977.

I remember 26 Sqdn at RAF Wyton 1970-75. They operated Bassets and a Devon.
Don't recall any JPs though.
They shared a hangar with 39 Sqdn.
