Recognise this one ?
This still is from a much aired clip of a " Battle of Britain " shootdown. Unable to find a link to the video clip but it's been around for many years. Any idea what type it is - beats me, the apparent location of the horizontal stabiliser I cannot reconcile. Any ideas to put me out of my misery much appreciated ? Cheers

Why do most films of the BoB seem to include FW 190s being shot down and a mass flypast of Miles Master I filling in for a scrambling fighter squadron? Is it laziness or ignorance on the part of the film makers?
Probably because the producers themselves were so overawed and confused by the baffling and esoteric new world of aviation that they thought everyone else was too, and as one aeroplane looked just like another no one would ever notice.
It would be the same if I made a film about mopeds or (c)rap music.

Both I think. Fed up of seeing Liberators posing as Lancasters (film maker thinks four engines, two tails: close enough) and the various other outright laughable gaffes that they make. Makes me wonder what else they get completely wrong on progs I'm watching to actually learn something!
