Hangar fire Gibraltar 1956

I have been researching aircraft losses in the British Military for many years and have accumulated quite extensive records during that time. I was therefore rather surprised when researching a Firefly loss in 1956 to come across the following snippet from The Times archive from the paper dated 13th Feb 1956. It mentions that three RAF aircraft were destroyed in a hangar fire the previous week, however I have no records of this incident.

Does anyone on this esteemed forum have any information to identify the aircraft types, serial or exact date of these losses, or maybe some thoughts on whether it is even true?
I hope I have not infringed any copyright issues by posting the image, please remove if I have.

Awaiting responses with enthusiasm.

Many thanks for the suggestion, I will give them a try.

Actually I never realised just how many hangar fires have occurred that resulted in the loss of at least one aircraft. So far I have identified, Aldergrove, RAF Akrotiri, RAF Wyton, Langar, RAF Kenley, RAF Finningley, HMS Eagle, RAF Hullavington but not one reference to one in Gibraltar.

Many thanks for that Lordflasheart, I was not aware of the Australian incident. Google syas that it was deliberate and that it decimated the Tracker fleet. Nasty
