Canso crash Mount Benson 1951
In 1951 a Queen Charlotte Air Canso crashed on Mount Benson, Vancouver Island southern face of Mount Benson. Sadly all aboard were lost. Parts of the wreckage are still clearly visible and I would very much like to explore the site as we have a family home in Benson Meadows. I know it is spread over a 50m area accessed by am unmarked trail but have no idea exactly where the site is. Anyone have a clue please? Thanks.
There is an article on the QCA Canso crash in issue 25-4 (Winter 2004) of the Nanaimo Family Historical Society quarterly magazine.
Might be worth trying to track it down, or getting in touch with the Society.

There's an email adress and a blue button 'notes from Stan in researching CF-FOQ' on this site:

There's a video of the site which has a lat + long listed in the comments
A Wiki article on Mt. Benson says the site is accessible via an unmarked trail.
