Passing of Trevor Broughton

Australian aviation historian Trevor Boughton passed away on Sunday October 6. He was aged 82. Trevor was a founding member of the Aviation Historical Society of Australia

Trevor will be missed. Described by one of his fellow historians as a fastidious researcher, he leaves behind a rich legacy. Trevor co-authored Flypast - A Record of Aviation in Australia which is unlikely to be surpassed as a definitive chronicle of aviation in Australia. Trevor also published Man and Aerial Machines for a number of years. At the time of his passing he was working on the Australian section of a forthcoming Air-Britain publication on the DC-4.
