W.J. (Bill) Bright DFC - Help please!
Dear all, I am trying to trace more info on William J. Bright (Bill) DFC who won the 1969 London-Sydney Air Race in an Islander (!) then later won the 1972 Daily Express Air Race in 1971 Sywell-Biggin Hill in a Jetstream. He was the MD of Terravia/Jetstream Ltd which took over production of the Jetstream following HP's bankruptcy before the concern went to Scottish Aviation.
He would be of advanced years now (95?) but had three children, Marcus, Rebecca and Alexander. Any contact details/gen/info very much appreciated!
