Beech 18 Expeditor flying round Bicester
We have filming going on at Bicester airfield today & tomorrow, series called Pennyworth, 1960's London centred around a young Alfred Pennyworth (becomes Batmans butler) anyway we have a silver Beech 18 with blue wingtips and blue and striped rudders, with the (only) markings 64 S and US Star inside blue circle, no other markings, seria, l registration etc that we can see, it is in the circuit (has been for about 30 minutes over the top of our house, we live on other side of road to airfield) unable to find who it belongs to, puzzled as to lack of markings etc, who's is it ? any ideas out there, It will be doing the same tomorrow apparently whilst filming continues, they are going to be blowing things up tonight uo until about 02.00, what excitement. Edit to include: during the first circuits around 14.45 - 15.00 the US stars in blue circle were covered up , hence fuselage was devoid of side markings, during refuel & into second session obviously markings uncovered because it is now flying round with US markings and prominent 64 on side but underwings only S on starboard wing.
