In addition to the basic crew of five, the following crewmembers are provided for; an instructor seated between and immediately aft of the pilots, a defence instructor seated on the right side of the upper deck ahead of the EW officer facing aft, a tenth crewmember position located next to the crew bunk facing aft utilizing the forward ditching hammock, and an instructor navigator seated at the aft end of the lower deck for take off and landing.
While it mentions a basic crew of five, a full up crew comprised six; two pilots, EW officer, gunner, radar navigator and navigator, making a total of ten.
