Airport ID checks
Does anyone remember when ID checks were introduced at UK check-in and gates, to make sure the ticket matched the passenger? I can't find the info anywhere.
It must have been in the 90s sometime, as I have just been reading about people travelling under false names in 1992 (which I find astounding).
