Swiss Alps Wreckage Emerges from Glacier

http://Melting Ice Uncovers 1946 Wre...yti.ms/2MsVXwn

The article links to the the original 1946 article. A then modern Air Force transport aircraft fell victim to winds. The pilot had to land on the Gauli glacier.

The survivors, no serious injuries, were brought out by Swiss Air Force Fieseler Storchs.

A happy contrast to the recent Tante Ju tragedy.

The Norwegian glaciers should start spitting out a host of WW II wrecks soon.
