I have not flown in an F16, but am owed a flight in one. Some 20 years ago I flew a young man to his entry-session in the DK air force, and while enroute, I distinctly remember us firmly agreeing, that if he got in and got to fly F16s, he'd give me a tour ! Probably not going to happen, although I remind the family every time I run into one of them...

Just to update my previous post - who would have thought that within 1 month of that post I would do 56 mins in a Schweizer 2-32 on a 'Mile High' flight at Boulder,CO (with a little weak thermalling thrown in) and by the end of the year I was back in the game.
The 2-32 was an interesting warbird survivor - it had been converted to a Lockheed QT-2 high altitude quiet reconnaissance a/c and had been reconverted back to glider config - still with a Lockheed logo on the fin.

So can add to my list of P1 types

SZD 'Junior'
DG200 (half share)
I also had a one fifteenth share in a 1962 K8 (now that was cheap flying )
Within 1 year I had finished off my Gold Badge with a climb to 11,500' near Loch Leven
Unfortunately I had to quit flying last year due to too many red line entries on my medical card .

plus as P2
DG505
Perkoz

Also how could I have forgotten the Harvard from my original list ?
Back seat out of Boscombe with a few touch and goes at Middle Wallop - what a lovely a/c to fly
