Dalotell instrument, what is it?

In the rear panel of the dalotel is an instrument that has me curious as to what it is? It looks like a dartboard, for the want of a better description.
It appears to say VHF down the left so presumably a radio of some sort. Can any of the forumites shed any light on what the item is?

Cheers
Danny

I suspect that it's not an instrument, but a VHF channel selector switch. Unlike any I have seen elsewhere, but it could fit the bill for a very old VHF comm crystal set with only a dozen or so frequencies.

Thanks Ken, that was what some others suggested too, having been around aircraft my whole life, and doing a bit in avionics in the early 80's I was surprised I hadn't seen one of these.....
Cheers

Interesting to see the mixture control on the right side of the cockpit.

I had never heard of the DM165 before.

Wikipedia says it's in the UK.

It was on the UK register as G-BILA in the 1980s after being sold to Robs Lamplough. It was badly damaged in a forced landing in 1983 and languished in a hangar somewhere for 20+ years before being shipped to the USA for restoration in 2006.

Seem to recall seeing it in the Surrey & Kent hangar at Biggin around 1980/81.
