RJ 100 Events
I have tried and failed to find reference to two alleged RJ100 (possibly BAe146) incidents that an acquaintance has insisted he was involved in as pax and is using them to run down the RJ as an unsafe aircraft which is unfair as well as quite irrational.
He claims to have been on board a Cityjet (Air France) RJ that had a dramatic reject and possibly an overrun or swerve off the runway at Bologna as well as a Lufthansa RJ that blew no. 3 or 4 engine just "on runup" at Tempelhof. Having some time on the 146 myself I don't believe for a moment that Tempelhof could require a static runup against the brakes in an RJ but he insisted this was the case.
I suspect he is an armchair aviation expert or is just bullshining and would like to know for sure - but does anyone recognise these events?

I would suggest a good trawl through the database and wikibase on Aviation-safety.net. I cannot say that I recognise these events but there is a fair chance someone will have added them to that data-/wikibase if they did happen.
Runup policies are surely operator-dependent. On the 146/RJ, when Aer Lingus served London City, they always did, the flight deck announced it. Cityjet often do. Swiss not so. I always thought it was not so much for better acceleration performance as to ensure that all the engines have stabilised symmetrically.
Neither Cityjet nor Lufthansa have had the long body RJ100, by the way, but the standard sized RJ85.
