Do my eyes deceive me?

Lake District about 11:15 1 /9/2016

I have just seen a strange aircraft flying westwards over Keswick. It was at about 1500' doing about 200kts. It was dark (green?) with orange dayglow flashes on fins and it looked like a twin boom a/c!! The nearest I could find was the
twin-boom COIN fighter of the '60s. Watched this from Portinscale, through binoculars and I was I suppose about 4-5 miles away. OK I have it an OV - 10 Bronco maybe?

Beckett and Rice designed a pretty good aircraft. It just needed P&W PT-6A-41's instead of the anemic T76 Garretts.. just saying.
