Some scap aluminium turned up in my street
This morning, this was parked near my house. Clearly, it once flew, and someone may be hoping it does so again. Any ideas what it might be? I thought it might be a Sabre. There must be more of it, on the way perhaps. I'll watch the kerb.

You have to admire the, ahem, "load securing" methods being used....

The Classic Jets museum closed down and the collection is being dispersed.
A shame - and I did hear that Sabre has the potential to be brought back to airworthy.

the reason the restorations require a construction plate is that the plate is required for a certificate of airworthiness, thus keeping numbers of aircraft constant and maintaining value.
