Currently six, five in the UK, one in New Zealand. Two more under repair after accidents, G-AIDN is nearly ready to fly after a refurb at Booker, and several more are being restored. Eventually 12 hopefully.

slight drift - neighbour said he heard 2 Merlins over S vendee a couple of days back but could not get outside quick enough to see what they were attached to - anyone any ideas

There are several P-51s in France, plus a Hurricane though that was slightly dinged earlier this year; also an Allison P-40 and several Yaks. And a Griffon Spit 19!
