36 Squadron Detachment Turnhouse
Is there a 36 Sqdn expert out there who could confirm if a detachment of 36 Sqdn from Cramlington was based at Turnhouse between 2 March 1916 when Turnhouse Farm was requisitioned by the War Office and the arrival of 26 Reserve Squadron on 22 May 1916? Apparently there is a reference to it in the Air Britain Militaria magazine (issue 1) in 1986 but I can't get hold of a copy.
Thank You

There is a reference to a Flight of 36 Squadron being temporarily detached to Turnhouse on page 160 of the book "Private Property, Government Requisition and the constitution, by G. R. Rubin.
