HAA Symposium tickets now avail;able

Mods. Can this be a sticky please?

The Annual HAA Symposium will be held this year on Saturday 8th November. The venue is as before, the RAF Museum, Hendon (courtesy of the RAFM Director General).
This year's symposium will focus on Aviation in the Great War with presentations on the deployment of the RFC to France, re-birth of a Great War airfield and what it's like to fly aircraft from the Great War era.
The programme continues with a presentation of Allied glider operations in the liberation of Europe from an internationally known speaker. Audience participation will then be invited as glider and tug pilot veterans join the speaker in a question and answer session.
Ticket prices this year have been held at £20 for members and £30 for non members. This represents outstanding value for a day at a prestige venue with an inspirational programme featuring top class speakers. Note that the price includes coffee or tea on arrival and a hot lunch.
Tickets may be obtained from Wendy Hinchcliffe w.hinchcliffeATgmail.com or via the HAA web site at Historic Aircraft Association :: representing the interests of historic aircraft owners, pilots, engineers and display organisers
Last year's Symposium sold out very quickly, so to avoid disappointment, early booking is advised as ticket numbers are limited.

Note also that a preferential membership and joining rate will be available on the day for non HAA members.
And as in previous years, we have been able to negotiate a waiver of the car parking fee for those arriving by car.
