Yes I'm on a SAAF trip at present

2200hrs 14 August 1944 34 Sqd SAAF Liberator EW205 'Q' departed Foggia/Celone with 9 other a/c (1 later rtb) to provide ECM cover for 'Operation Dragoon' the invasion of Southern France using 'MANDREL' jammers - duration 11 hours crew was mixed SAAF/RAF

PZU - Out of Africa (Retired)

My late father (then) Sgt A/G RAF(VR) was one of the crew, Capt Keith Carter SAAF was pic
