Hawker Hunter F58a Miss Demeanour

Here's a proper Hunter colour scheme:
ZK-JIL FR.74 ex Singapore Air Force and prior to that with 14(F) and 66(F).
I saw her first flight after several years in storage (http://www.sunlive.co.nz/news/20846-...e-airshow.html) and then the subsequent displays at the Tauranga Air Show in 2012. The first one I had seen in the air since the 60s. Marvelous.
To me, the Hunter always looks "exactly right" in a way that the Swift doesn't.

Sorry, but it's the worst colour scheme I've ever seen on a Hawker Hunter - really, really hideous and totally inappropriate. Probably a negative selling point too....

Indeed I did and quite intentionally. However I would add fresh, bright, eye catching, scintillating, different, original..... Oh, yes and attention grabbing, flamboyant, lively, dynamic.... Just love seeing the aircraft in the air.
Wonder what scheme you would create for the aircraft......?

The aircrafts colour scheme, along with her name, make a perfect combination.

Who really cares what the paint scheme is when surely the intention is to operate and display an aircraft to a public audience, most of whom simply wish to see this now vintage and iconic aircraft fly. The 21st century can be so confusing for some it would seem.

The future is obviously with the lurid and tarty, and the only thing that is demonstrably wrong is that the owners have "heritage" in their name; that is not a heritage colour scheme, whether you like it or not.

Why so dogmatic, you guys?
If a choice of livery had to be made for the UK Hunter fleet between having them all in various authentic RAF schemes (on the one hand) and flamboyant non-military ones (on the other), it would be a no-brainer.
The appeal of Miss Demeanour's paint-job, however, is its uniqueness. As a flying machine, we non-rated cognoscenti think of the Hunter as a very fast, aerobatic jet aeroplane, whose design is unlikely ever to be matched for sheer beauty. Her raison d’ętre was military, but we don't have to know that to recognise her aesthetically, and we don't have constantly to be reminded of it in her make-up.
The art-work itself, if money was no object, could no-doubt evolve into something even better by annual experiment. But none of us is footing the bill...

I like the colour scheme, it's bright and vibrant and eye-catching, but it's more appropriate for a child's toy than a restored historic aircraft. I don't believe in changing history and this is quite inappropriate for the context.

I guess the die-hards wouldn't approve of these either 
For my money they all look great (not actually seen one in the flesh), I'm more than happy to see them in any paint scheme, if that's what it takes to see an iconic airframe doing what the makers built it to do - fly.
