ELEKTRA / SONNE / CONSOL Navigation system
The German Lorenz company introduced the ELEKTRA system in 1939/40 which then morphed into Sonne and later Consol. Consol lasted virtually unchanged until the 1990's.
Does anyone have access / know where original ELEKTRA maps may be found? The British library has lost its copy of a gnonmetric Sonne chart and I have tried throughout Europe to find an original, but to no avail.
I am trying ideally to find a HUSUM station chart as that was the station used by Rudolf Hess on 10th May 1941.
For detail: Rudolf Hess - A new technical analysis (Spellmount Press).
Many thanks.

JH,
There was a brief 'discussion' on PPRuNe in Feb. - here - and now active again.

But much more expertise seemed to be available via a link provided on the second page - here
Axis History Forum ? Sonne 6 : a new location
The following two very expert looking sources are translatable - after a fashion. You may already have all this at your fingertips, and you may have the language skills as well.
Elektra-Sonne, FuSAn 700, FuSAn 701, radar, Hargerpolder, Petten
Elektra 2 / Sonne 8 in Husum (1) - geschichtsspuren.de (vorm. lostplaces.de)
Welcome to PPRuNe - both j harris and Carl55.
I used Consol a few times in the early 70s. I remember you had to know how to count.

The Elektra Sonne 4 was at Hussum, Germany, close to the Northsea near the Danish border.
What are you looking for?
I did some research on Elektra Sonne 5, Petten, The Netherlands.
Best regards.
