Fijian bizjet?
Wonder if anyone can help - I logged DQ-FNL more than once, one such occasion was Sep 15 2000, but I can find no reference to any such reg on the net or in books.
I have it as a Citation, but my bizjet skills were not so good as they are now... I wonder if it was German and I got the Q wrong, but seeing as I logged it at least twice on different occasions Im curious. Appreciate any help.

YVRLTN, airframes.org shows OO-FNL to be a CitationJet that's been around since 1999. Seems a likely candidate.

Luton/Channel Islands.
I was an ATCA at Luton 1964/65. At that time Derby Airways operated to both Jersey and Guernsey with C47s in the summer with the occasional Argonaut to JER. Sometimes, the Herald, G-ASKK, turned up too. Some days in the summer those services originated at Cambridge.
They also operated a service to Belfast via Derby also with the Daks (they had about 7).
When the development of Castle Donington was announced Derby Airways then announced their name change to British Midland.
The terminal at that time was a collection of wooden huts and both of the resident operators, Autair and Euravia (who also used the Skyways of London name) had their offices in huts.

That Connie was probably G-ARXE which was the last to carry the Skyways of London livery. I think it was a L749, the rest being L049s or L149s (I say "I think" - it was 50 years and 2 strokes ago), those other 6 all wore Euravia colours.
I was an ATCA at Luton from 4/1964 to 3/1965 when I went to EMA when it opened. My claim to fame was that I was on duty when G-ANBB, the first of the Britannias, was delivered and the airline changed it's name.

In the days when Ryanair used to fly more interesting aircraft out of Luton but what year was it as I haven't got a clue?
