Presuming a member of the public came across wreckage/remains, who might he have contacted first? Might be worth looking for police records or asking the local farmers."

Yes there's another thread and on an earlier one a chap said he had already been there and had seen crash debris still on the surface and that deep detecting indicated substancial wreckage below, only trouble is he appears to have left the planet - The Curse of the WHIRLWIND strike's again...

We have already been asking the locals, and some of the rangers about the crash, but either it turns into a dead end or we don't get replys...
