Cessna 195 in the UK?

Hi all, im a PPL and want to find someone in the UK who has a Cessna 195 and see if I could arrange a flight?
So far I haven't been too successful in finding one?

Anyone out there have any leads?

According to GINFO there is only one on the UK register - G-BSPK - owned by a couple in Chiselhurst.

And based at Biggin Hill.

There's also one based at Derby which is on the UK register as a Cessna 190, but has the Jacobs engine which would make it effectively a 195. Plus a couple of US-registered examples resident in the UK, at Henstridge and Audley End.

Asking around at those fields might get you a ride.

Thirsty little devils made back in the days when Cessna could design a high wing single without external struts. What price progress, eh?

They don't read but they do contribute in some useful way.

Here's three American registered ones:

N3064BCessna 195BAudley End
N1551DCessna 190Shipdham
N999MHCessna 195BHenstridge

Hope this is of some use Dave.
