Classic Air Force - St. Mawgan Cornwall

Went along today to take a look at the new aviation museum. Pleasure flights in old aircraft and about a dozen to view inside the hangar. Very presentable.

Ahhhh....there's dear old G-AMRA again.

I spent many hours of an earlier existence explaining to Gulf Aviation's unsurprised passengers that G-AMRA was unserviceable, we would get her fixed in the end, so why not be patient.

And the engineers always did fix her.

I heard she went from us to a Saudi-based rainmaker, 1971 or thereabouts, but that could be cobblers. I didn't meet her again until she taxied past me at Coventry one day in about 2000, to my great surprise.
