Luftwaffe land at Hendon - by mistake

just leafing through a copy of Hendon Aerodrome - a History, by David Oliver, that I recently bought. It has a picture and tale of a Luftwaffe Noratlas that landed at hendon on 25 Jan 1967, enroute from Brawdy to Northolt, mistaking Hendon for Northolt. Flown by Sgt Moerig, based at Celle.

Anyone know any more about this and what his punishment was?

There's a history of the Luftwaffe doing exactly that - mistaking Hendon or thereabouts for Northolt
