RAF Church Lawford.

Bit of a long shot, has anyone got any pics of said base or can anyone point me in the direction of any historical sites that cover the base?

Regards Trout.

A photograph from my Dad's time at Church Lawford in '46:
It doesn't show much of the Station but does give a feeling for events at an AFTS.

Regrettably not. The back of the photograph only has a Crown Copyright stamp on it and a RAF Station Church Lawford stamp. No clues to the date. I tried to check for other details but I put it "somewhere safe" after scanning it; you can guess the rest.

Air Britain Harvard file FT354 5(P)AFU 1.45-6.45,20 FTS coded FAJ:K 6.45-7.47 2 FTS 7.47-7.49. It would seem to have been repaired and recoded . RAF Museum Hendon will have aircraft record card for accident date.
