Oshkosh 2011, Lots of Props. (My Pics)
Mods please move this if its not the correct Forum.
Here is a small selection from my visit last year to Oshkosh.
Was welll worth it but on seeing the results I was not happy with the back drop of hundreds of military vehicles !!!!!
As an aside and noted as a word of encouragement to others, this year has been a very lean time for me in Photography.
Am now well on the way to recovering from the big "C", had my right Kidney removed . Given the all clear post op. I am glad to say.
A few months ago I didnt feel I was ever going to get back in harness, but I am pleased to say that I am now planning events for next year with a big ambition to make it to Australia in 2014.
Content at the moment to go back over events of last year to keep the interest alive and the brain active.
Hence this selection of Pics. which I more than happy to share with others,
ever onwards and upwards.

At the risk of being boring, you may wish to look at a thread I opened recently in Spectators Balcony (Spotters Corner.)
"My 2013 Calendar (Pics)"
Every year I select a few choice Pics. from my files for a "Calendar" I produce to send to friends and family .
The selection for my 2013 Calendar is from Old Warden taken in 2009.
Hope they are to your liking.

Done Oshkosh six times. Last time in 2009. That was when the military vehicles appeared in the background. Thousands of them!! Lovely place, did it for all eight days each time, and flew in that Ford Tri-motor. Eventually though, it seemed to be a bit sameish and over commercialised, with dreadful commentaries, so have retired to just Duxford these days. However, if you haven't yet gone there, it must be on your bucket list!!., Nice pictures of happy memories.
