Original adverts from 1940-61, for the DC-5(!), Super DC-3, DC-6 and the Vanguard

Clearly, the high hopes of 1959 for the Vanguard were not fulfilled. The DC-5 is all but forgotten now and take a look at one of the Super DC-3 adverts for the sort of artistic licence that no airliner manufacturer today would be allowed to get away with!
