QRA scramble 15th July Bruntingthorpe

Come along and see us recreate, [almost] a Lightning Q scramble from our recently rebuilt Wattisham Q shed

When I was fast asleep in that shed, that telebrief bark really me off!!!

There was a little more time to wake up if runway 05 was in use if the tailwind component on 23 exceeded ten knots.

However, if one had to use 23 then one was very aware of being half asleep. The runway was about 100 yards from the Q shed exit!

Been there - seen it - done it.
