Lightbulb History in the passing.

The death has occurred of one of the team of engineers who helped in the design and build of the first ever jet engine patented by Sir Frank Whittle, 87 year old John Gregory from Clitheroe Lancashire worked along side Frank Whittle in the old textile mill come engineering shop based at Clitheroe.
Not long ago (18months) Rolls Royce from nearby Barnoldwick, mounted an excellent copy of the original Whittle Jet engine, on a plinth for people to be able to see what these very tallented men, gave to our World.
