Can anybody please help me with a link or contact to get tech info on SIAI Marchetti 1019 known as the Cessna Birdog on steroids. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year.

High-wing cabin monoplane. It is a development of the once widely-used Cessna O-1 Birddog with a turboprop engine. About 100 built.

SIAI-Marchetti S.M.1019
Liasion aircraft

Development:
The S.M.1019 first flew on May 24, 1969. The prototype was a revised version of the Cessna Model 305A/O-1 Bird Dog STOL liasion aircraft. The aircraft began entering service with air units in 1976. By 1993 less than 70 aircraft were still in service.

Obviously not a very popular aeroplane as there is a distinct lack of info on the net.
