Anna Wallis aka " Seoul City Sue "

Does anyone know how to find out if the propaganda broadcasts of " Seoul City Sue " that were taped more than 60 years ago are available? " Seoul City Sue " was Anna Wallis ( or Wallace ) an American missionary who went over to the North Koreans during the Korean War. Her broadcasts were particularly directed at U.S.A. airmen and just what she had to say would be of great interest to todays historians.
Anna is something of a mystery and any reliable information about her would be appreciated.

Seoul City Sue, Seoul City Sue,
Your hair is black, your eyes are too
I'd swap my honey cart for you.
Seoul City Sue, Seoul City Sue,
No one smells of Kimchie,
Like my sweet Seoul City Sue.
Perhaps of more interest is that she was later apparently executed (firing squad) by the N Koreans for allegedly being a double agent !

The rumour that she was executed came exclusively from the defector Jenkins and he for reasons of his own is a questionable source. You will note I used the words " reliable source ". Regards,

There were a number of radio stations in communist countries which used defectors from the west to read out their tirades of propaganda. I remember Radio Tirana, which had a woman with a grating voice and a slight Scottish accent who used to read the 'news' in an unvarying monotone, of course it was not news at all, but a commentary liberally peppered with phrases such as the :
"The revanchist revisionist imperialist Zionist capitalist running dog lackeys of the West ........"
and every minute or so they referred to :
"Our revered and beloved leader Comrade Enver Hoxha".

I found a website which refers to it as :
The stultifying dull, Radio Tirana which used to broadcast hours of Marxist-Leninist propaganda night after night.

The site has a lot to interest anyone who was interested in SW Radio :

Cold War Radio

Amazing : I found one of their old broadcasts here : World Ear Project: Radio Tirana, Speaker

Hi OP
I know ...you will notice my use of the 2 weasel words.
I do vaguely remember reading about her many years ago,did she survive then ?
There were also rumours about her doing the broadcasts unwillingly,I have never heard her speak so cannot comment
