Will be flying then so have set pvr to record (hopefully) so thanks for the heads up. I hope its a proper tribute to 617 squadron and not an excuse to see more Buffalo airways. Looks like this is a summary: http://http://www.history.ca/ontv/titledetails.aspx?titleid=261043

According to the link
Dambusters Fly Again - On TV - History Television
It is the Buffalo Airways attempt. Not the greatest tribute to anyone other than Buffalo Airways IMHO.

This was shown in the UK last year. Unless it has undergone a re-edit it is less driven and focused on Buffalo than you might think.
The main focus of the docu is a Cam professor constructing a scale mock up of the raid and discussing the challenges that had to be overcome. Personally I think the guy comes across as a bit of a prat and does not portray engineering in a good light, but that is just me...
None the less it is worth a watch.

Unfortunately I'm working Friday evening...
So, cutting the documentary short, do they hit/destroy the dam?
The film follows the trials and tribulations of the team as they race to hit the dam before the winter storms set in.
