Used for apprentice training for many years, then by the LHR fire service, before being broken up in situ.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to recollect that a couple of BOAC Argonauts may have ended up at Redhill aerodrome in Surrey?
Several Argonauts were indeed broken up at Redhill in the mid-60s.
