Airlines no longer operating
Like seacue I too was SLF on 8 airlines on Coquelet's list.
Plus a few more like Hunting Air Services (or whatever they were called in 1948), Silver City and some of the Ansett regionals.
Certainly don't miss some (e.g. Pan Am., Air Inter). . .

The shortest flight time from Johannesburg to the USA west coast and 2 night stopover in Rio for US$45

I traveled to/from Utica/Rome (NY) in December 1958. I suspect this meant flying on Mohawk Airlines - at least from UCA to Newark. Mohawk eventually merged into Allegheny/US Air.
That would add another defunct airline to my list,

London City-Dash 7 operator out of London City, didnt it become part of BMI
Princess Air- 146 operator used the QC version

Berlin European- didnt Monarch assist them with 737s
Peach Air - Tristars and 737s didnt they have a good time breaking down a lot
