Post war transport
Correct but not any of those stated. The intake served a first-of-its-kind feature for a British transport.

Hi Mel.

Radial engine?
No prop?
Is that a chain linkage leading skyward?
Struts left and right, lead to wheels?

Cheers.

Hi Graeme
Radial engine? - The engine was a 80 hp Gnome engine
No prop? - 4 bladed prop linked to the engine by the chain linkage leading skyward.
Struts left and right, lead to wheels - Yes.

Dunno Mel.

I was thinking of an early helicopter but there would be no need for a chain and you mentioned "prop".

Is it European?

It was from an East European country and not a helicopter.
