Stearman 75-2779
I am trying to get some more background history of this aircraft and talk with anyone who has information and or pictures.
It came from the US to spray budworm in New Brunswick in the 1960's and remained in Canada after that.
In 1970, in Canada, registered CF-VOB and while used by General Airspray of Ontario as a crop duster on floats, it had an accident and was withdrawn from service. In 1987-1989 it was rebuilt and re-registered
C-FBYI and flown by Robert Clark in Berwick, NS. In 1990 it was moved to Frederickton, NB for ten years and flown by John Connor, until being sold to Ontario and again restored in Burlington.
I can be contacted by e.mail [email protected] or tel in Canada at
