22 Hunter Loop

Anyone know where the "old" thread went - does not come up on a search. Then I could look for when the Movies for Men are showing the Red Arrows film with the 22 Hunter Loop included, and let you all know!

22 Hunter loop 1958

Good evening gentlemen, sorry to intrude (as a non pilot) that is but your thread about the 22 Hunters was forwarded to me by a friend. My interest stems from being the proud owner of the cockpit of XE584. I have gathered bits of info over the years and 584 flew in position 5.3 and from my information which came via Reg Wyness of 111 association she was flown by Will Scarlett the photograph which I have came from Reg with each aircraft identified by it flight position number but what caught my attention was that both my list and the one presented are dated 4th September. With 584 being flown by other than Will Scarlett. It could well be that the list is a generic one covering the weeks flying by all pilots and that they flew different aircraft as assigned. For the record my list is as below.
XG194 N Sqn Ldr Roger Topp 1
XG170 G Flt Lt J M Oakford 2
XG200 Q F/O M S Wild 3
XF515 Flt Lt A Brindle 4 (West Rayham)
XG201 B Flt Lt P B Hine 21
XG171 E Flt Lt B Mercer 22
XE592 P Flt Lt G Ord 23 (56 Sqn)
XE653 S Flt Lt M B Kemp 31
XJ715 H F/O R Smith 32
XG189 D Flt Lt B Smith 33 (92 Sqn)
XF416 T Flt Lt R L Barcilon 41
XF424 F/O R Hymans 42
XE616 F/O P D Jennings 43
XG190 C Flt Lt L A Swart 51
XE656 F/O N Lamb 52 ( 2nd T A F )
XE584 Flt Lt W Scarlett 53
XG193 A F/O Clayton-Jones 61
XJ687 Flt Lt L A Boyer 62
XG266 Flt Lt F Travers-Smith 63
XG160 U F/O M Thurley 71
XF506 J F/O A Aldridge 72
XG191 Flt Lt D Edmonston 73

Airborne Spares

XF430 V Flt Lt C Biss
XG124 F F/O B Vaughan (56 Sqn)
There appears to be several discrepencies between the 2 lists both with aircraft and pilots. Is there a definative list?

Any one know Will Scarlett's current situation, if so maybe you could forward my details and ask him to get in touch.

Graham.
