WW1/Inter-war years British aircraft
I am scanning pictures of RFC/RAF aircraft from the Great War and just after, but a lot of them do not have any identifying text on them. I have no idea of the aircraft below, and would be grateful if anyone could put names to them, please.

The top one looks like a Curtiss Jenny.
Second photo is of a Westland Wallace, which were in service with 501Sqdn(City of Bristol),502(Aldergrove),503 (Waddington),and 504(Hucknall)..As it was wet ,it`s probably Aldergrove..!!Also served with Anti-Aircraft Co-op Flight at Biggin, and others later converted to Target-towing,probably in yellow/blackstripes.Retired in 1943...
added; 5408 is a Curtiss JN-3,but no idea where..Upavon,Netheravon,Gosport

Thank you Sycamore.
The Aldergrove location would seem to make sense, as there are other phots from around the area. 1915-1936 in this one file, covering France, UK and the Middle East.

According to Bruce Robertson in his book "British Military Aircraft Serials 1911 - 1979" a total of 9 Curtiss JNs where allocated Serial Nos 5404- 5412 these aircraft having been transferred from the Royal Naval Air Sservice.
If you try ` ukserials.com`,I`ve counted 150+ JN-3s,and 200+ JN-4s,allocated,and that`s not counting after `A`serials...Whether they arrived is a different matter...!
Whispering `sweet nothings`...? The aircraft is an Avro 500 TypeE, note the little outrigger wheels, fitted to prevent the sailors `rolling gait`,even on Harriers..!
