Canberra Lecture Precis (from 1961) ie how to fly a Canberra

Hi all,

Many years ago I was given the above, and in clearing out my loft I have refound it.

It was issued to a Flt LT P Reynolds in December 1961 by 231 OCU.

If anybody wants it, then please should. All I ask is that you pay the postage (about £5?)- be warned, it is a hardback tomb, a couple of inches thick! If you live nearby, you could always pick it up.

I guess Flt Lt P. Reynolds should have first shout. Does anybody know/knew him?

Alternatively, I'd be quite happy to donate it to a Canberrea society or museum if anybody knows of a suitable one

Strangly, inside (loose) are a couple of photos of Victor XA 928 in flash white livery. Does anybody know what happened to her?

Regards,

C23

Not pre -T4 then, when new pilots to the type (I am told) given the manual, a trip in the Rumbold seat and then sent "solo".

XA928 was converted to a Victor K1 tanker and went to 214 Sqn. She ended her days on the St Athan dump in 1976.
