BKS Colour Spec
At the North East Aircraft Museum we're planning to restore the former BMA Viscount which we were gifted from D.T.V.A via Millom.
Due to it's links with the North East we plan to paint it in B.K.S. colours used on their Viscount 800's e.g. G-AOYH, G-AOYL, G-AOYO etc. i.e. grey undersides. Does anyone has the paint specifications for this scheme so we can get the scheme as acurate as possible?
Also, we're desperate for any parts but in particular - cockpit panels / instruments, Windows but we are very keen to complete airframe, so wings / tail & engines are required, though we realize these items will be much harder to come across.
Any memorabilia on B.K.S. would also be welcome – timetables, in-flight magazine etc. either on loan to the museum or donation.
If you can help, please contact us via info @ NEAM.ORG.UK
Thanks
Dave

Here's a link to the Cambrian website, which also has a lot of pictures and information about BKS/Northeast. Maybe this would be of help.
BKS Northeast bas
...and here's a link to the BKS website with plenty of photos and info.

It might be worth putting your request for parts on both sites - you never know!
