The Handley Page Trophy
G'day mate. I had a google and kept getting models and Handley Page models at that.
Looks like the guy who made this held the trophy for a while?..
Unfortunately I lost interest in the trophy because I was surprised to learn from that photo that the Heyford's four bladed prop was simply two props bolted together? Was this a common solution back then?
So I googled more images of the Heyford and sure enough...
But with this photo I lost interest in the props and was more concerned with the dead(?) guy laying prone on the concrete...?!
So I stopped googling.

That Heyford was at Scalemodelworld 2006, and won;
Bronze in Category 21 (1/71 and larger aircraft), the Bomber Command Trophy, the Handley Page Trophy and the Ron Rowley Memorial Trophy. It was built by Aris Polyzos.

He's not dead - he's blowing up the wheels with that big pipe thing. His mates are watching him - very impressed.
He does look like he's just fallen and bought the farm though.
