Hurricane 1 R4187 Kenley action

This Hurricane "R 4187" (flown by Fl Lt SDP Connors DFC 111 Squadron) was one of the first casualties of the Kenley raid 18th Aug 1940 when he attacked the Dorniers over the airfield.
Most records state his aircraft was damaged by return fire and also by part of the defence fire being put up at the time.
The result was the aircraft crashed locally and Connors (already a veteran of the French campaign) was killed. At this time his score stood at 12 confirmed.
The details of his final action are obscured by the low level nature of the raid and lack of witnesses therefore very little has been published about him or 111 squadrons time at Croydon.
I am trying to trace the Squadron letter JU-! for this particular aircraft and any ideas would be welcome.
