Free Aviation Books
I have a large number of aviation books, paperback & hardback, for which I am looking for good homes. In various categories they cover WWI, WWI, Korea, Vietnam, The Falklands and various other minor conflicts.
Whilst I would rather those who want some to collect, I will post if they donate the equivalent amount to a suitable charity such as SSAFA, Hope for Heroes etc.
Rather than list them all here I will leave those interested in various periods to contact me.
As a starter, I have a copy of "Pinpoint the Bomber" by Francis Chichester, published by George Allen & Unwin , in 1942. A hardback in blue cloth ( 1st ed.), the paper cover is in very poor condition and the cover itself is discoloured and distorted. However, it is totally intact with all pages and maps still bound.
The subject is aerial navigation in the form of games, with the reader/player having to navigate a bomber from Kent to the Rhineland and back based on the text, photos and DR.

I realise that posting them across the country is a hassle, and if you'd rather not bother then I understand completely. However I have had a quick look at Royal Mail's parcel delivery options (http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/j...mediaId=400031) and it seems postage would be in the region of £7-£10, assuming the books were all placed in a box together.
